About Us
Allora: Psychology & Allied Health is not your typical neighbourhood psychology practice.
Our Story
Asking for help can be hard, and finding the right psychologist isn't always easy. Allora is built on connecting to people, openly, honestly and without judgement. No matter your life story or circumstances, Allora can be somewhere you can take your armour off and begin to truly heal.
We encourage the hard conversations, create meaningful connections, and hold hope. With a safe space and a safe person, the opportunity to develop self-understanding and change is endless.
Allora is designed to be approachable, accessible and authentic. The individual is at the centre and heart of everything we do. It is important that you feel heard and seen. We are all simply just human beings being human. In a world that operates within systems that don’t always make sense, Allora is committed to helping people compassionately, empathetically and without the bullshit.
Allora: Psychology & Allied Health was created and designed by Tenille Dilorenzo, Forensic Psychologist and AHPRA Board Approved Supervisor. Tenille has extensive experience working in forensic/correctional settings and community mental health.
Sometimes we just need someone to sit with us, to really listen and hear our story, to truly see us for who we are. Allora offers a non-judgmental, safe space where we can create vulnerable conversations to explore and develop self-understanding, self-compassion, and positive change.
Our vision is to build hope and meaningful therapeutic connections and to sit with you in the dark until the light comes.
We can tell you about our treatment styles and approach, but we know that without a solid therapeutic relationship and the development of trust and respect, the rest doesn’t mean much.
