Individual Counselling
Tenille works predominantly with adults (18+ years of age) and utilises a holistic approach incorporating elements from several empirically based psychological counselling modalities.

You can access individual counselling in several ways:

Self- refer by calling or emailing us.

Through a GP referral (with a Mental Health Care Plan).

Please see the Fees & Rebates page for more info. Finding the right psychologist is often a difficult task, and if you happen to find yourself outside of travelling distance to a psych, Allora can help by providing psychological counselling on the phone or through confidential video services.
Clinical Supervision
Whether you’re a fully-fledged psychologist, a psych in progress or a professional working within the mental health space, Allora can provide individualised support to help the helpers. We often forget the ways this work can impact on us, and having a space dedicated to reflecting, debriefing and growing can be essential to prevent burn out and ensure we are providing the best possible services to our clients.
There are times where we need to debrief, or we may have specific questions to manage certain situations. Supervision or reflective practice can be a great space to do this in. Allora psychologists are experienced with providing supervision to a range of professionals and we could be a great fit for you or your team. We also are available for providing group supervision/reflective practice sessions if preferred.

Offence Specific Counselling
Our mistakes do not need to define us. If you have found yourself in a situation where you have had contact with the criminal justice system (CCO, Parole, or recently released from prison), there can be a lot to adjust to.
Finding the right psychologist to help support you can be difficult. Tenille has over 12 years of experience providing counselling within prisons and can provide support to you with some understanding of the prison environment, offending lifestyles, and all the other chaos that is often involved in that world.
Tenille focuses on working with individuals’ strengths, acknowledging that we are not the worst thing we have ever done, and . Tenille has worked within adult male correctional centres (maximum, minimum and remand) for over 12 years, and within the community supporting people transitioning from custody or on community-based orders.
Tenille welcomes referrals to support individuals with offending behaviour, managing correctional orders and/or addressing substance use addiction.
Additionally, Tenille can provide treatment reports for Court, please note, clients will have needed to be engaged in treatment for a period of time prior to the report being completed.
Tenille is unable to complete assessment reports for Court (Criminal and Family). If you have any questions regarding documents for Court related matters, please contact us and we can discuss further.

There are two clinic rooms which can be rented out on either half a day, daily, or multi day basis.
The rental fee starts at $115 + GST for a daily rate and can reduce when more than one day is preferred. This fee is inclusive of all outgoing costs which includes:
Unlimited WIFI, EFTPOS/HiCAPS Terminal, electricity/gas, clean carpeted office space, reception area with shared waiting space, ducted heating, high traffic exposure, shared kitchen and bathroom amenities, optional advertisement on Allora website, street parking, and furnished offices (including desk and chair).
