You can access individual counselling in several ways:

Through a GP referral (with a Mental Health Care Plan).

Please see the Fees & Rebates page for more info. Finding the right psychologist is often a difficult task, and if you happen to find yourself outside of travelling distance to a psych, Allora can help by providing psychological counselling on the phone or through confidential video services.
Clinical Supervision
Whether you’re a fully-fledged psychologist, a psych in progress or a professional working within the mental health space, Allora can provide individualised support to help the helpers. We often forget the ways this work can impact on us, and having a space dedicated to reflecting, debriefing and growing can be essential to prevent burn out and ensure we are providing the best possible services to our clients.
There are times where we need to debrief, or we may have specific questions to manage certain situations. Supervision or reflective practice can be a great space to do this in. Allora psychologists are experienced with providing supervision to a range of professionals and we could be a great fit for you or your team. We also are available for providing group supervision/reflective practice sessions if preferred.

Offence Specific Counselling
Our mistakes do not need to define us. If you have found yourself in a situation where you have had contact with the criminal justice system (CCO, Parole, or recently released from prison), there can be a lot to adjust to.
Finding the right psychologist to help support you can be difficult. Allora psychologists have had over 12 years of experience providing counselling within prisons and can provide support to you with some understanding of the prison environment, offending lifestyles, and all the other chaos that is often involved in that world.
People don’t usually wake up and choose addiction or choose to hurt people and blow their lives up by offending or going to prison.
You are not the worst thing you ever did or that has ever happened to you. You are so much more than that, and having someone to speak to without judgement, can be crucial to making healthy changes and addressing some of the underlying shit that is going on.

There are two clinic rooms which can be rented out on either half a day, daily, or multi day basis.
The rental fee starts at $115 + GST for a daily rate and can reduce when more than one day is preferred. This fee is inclusive of all outgoing costs which includes:
Unlimited WIFI, EFTPOS/HiCAPS Terminal, electricity/gas, clean carpeted office space, reception area with shared waiting space, ducted heating, high traffic exposure, shared kitchen and bathroom amenities, optional advertisement on Allora website, street parking, and furnished offices (including desk and chair).
